Life: Happy Grilled Cheese Month...Again!

It's Grilled Cheese Month once again!  What a glorious month, indeed!  I'll be kicking off the celebration with a visit to Pete's this week where they serve up one of the best grilled cheese sammies in town....

The countdown is on for the 1st 8th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational.  Mark your calendars, yo!  I, personally, have yet to attend the GCI because of my aversion to large crowds, loooong lines and the disappointment of getting very little to no grilled cheese sammies at all (as reported by a number of friends who have attended the event over the years). Instead, I'll be front and center at the official UN-official Grilled Cheese UN-Invitational where we will be guaranteed all the cheesy deliciousness (and tomato soup!) our tummies can handle!  Our GCuI hosts attended the GCI last year, gave away gallons of free warm tomato soup, and received not one tiny nibble of grilled cheese goodness the entire afternoon.  Out of complete disappointment the 1st Annual Grilled Cheese UN-Invitational was born. As they say...necessity is the mother of invention!

For even more artery clogging deliciousness I hope to find some time to stop in to La Brea Bakery to try out the recently announced  special menu in honor of Grilled Cheese Month!  Oh, how I love LA!
